Lender Spotlight: Tanzania Commercial Bank

In 2021, Tanzania Commercial Bank (TCB) began partnering with Aceli to grow its agricultural lending. At the time, less than 2% of its portfolio was in agriculture, and it had not issued any cassava loans. Today, TCB is using warehouse receipts to finance the cassava value chain in a remote region of the country.
