Work with Aceli

This position will play a key role in Aceli’s strategic development, overseeing all aspects of the finance function, including planning, treasury, reporting, risk and compliance.

This role will play a key role in building and scaling Aceli’s Salesforce-based platform, and will design, develop, and maintain system features, translating complex business processes into scalable, user-friendly solutions.

Reporting directly to the Kenya Country Manager and working closely with Aceli colleagues across Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, and the US, the Senior Associate will provide operational, coordination, and administrative support that amplifies Aceli’s impact and learning across the agri-SME finance ecosystem.

The Manager, Lender Capacity Building will lead the strategy and continuous improvement of Aceli’s lender capacity building program, which supports Aceli’s lending partners to grow and deepen their agricultural SME lending portfolios. The Manager will oversee the full Capacity Building program cycle: from lender pipeline development and engagement design, to delivery oversight, monitoring and evaluation, and program-level learning.

Aceli Africa is inviting Expressions of Interest from firms to support capacity building for lenders financing agricultural SMEs across East Africa and Zambia. We are seeking partners experienced in working alongside financial institutions to strengthen lending strategies, systems, products, and staff capacity in agri-SME finance. Selected firms will join a pre-qualified panel for engagements between May 2026 and December 2028.

Aceli is developing a three-layer AI architecture to support its Phase 2 growth strategy. Aceli invites qualified firms to tender for a two-workstream engagement to integrate AI into Aceli’s lender activation and product design functions.
